Emerging Artist Call for Art

  • General Information

    YoloArts is seeking artwork by emerging artists 18+ who have not previously exhibited at Gallery 625. A variety of media welcome included but not limited to paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media, ceramics, glass, metalwork. All artwork must be solely the result of the artistic effort of the artist. (Artwork that contains offensive language, and/or sexual content or imagery, or otherwise exclusive of any factor of the social stratum shall not be considered)

    Please submit 1-2 images you would like to be considered for the exhibit. Artwork must be original; solely created by the artist; and not previously exhibited by YoloArts. Submitted artwork may be no smaller than 8”x10” (framed) and no larger than 36” x 48” Entry Deadline: February 22, 2021
  • Write in the first person. Talk about your work in general, your influences, your creative process, the themes you explore with your work.
  • Accepted file types: jpg, png.
    Entry 1: Please provide JPEG/PNG image (1200 pixels on the long side, and no larger than 2 MB); PLEASE LABEL JPEG with ArtistName_title
  • MUST INCLUDE: Title, medium, year, dimensions(framed and/or unframed), price (If not for sale indicate NFS)
  • What is the story/inspiration behind this artwork? What are you trying to express? Special techniques used. (if applicable)
  • Accepted file types: jpg, png.
    Entry 2: Please provide JPEG/PNG image (1200 pixels on the long side, and no larger than 2 MB); Label JPEG with ArtistName_title
  • MUST INCLUDE: Title, medium, year, dimensions (framed or unframed), price (If not for sale indicate NFS)
