Learn these early sun-based photography techniques to make stunning, high contrast compositions. All materials and tools provided!
This class covers the process of making cyanotypes, or “sun prints.” You will explore cyanotype collusion by exposing natural items (flowers, leaves, etc.) onto coated photo paper to make stunning, high contrast compositions.
You will also experiment with anyhotypes, an alternative process to cyanotypes, by creating natural photo paper with carrots, spinach and blackberries.
Materials and tools provided. You are invited to bring your own cotton items for printing if you wish.
