Selections from Transmission Gallery Oakland
Nine women artists incorporate the human likeness into their work and investigate themes of identity, feminism, spirituality, body image, and the environment. Works encompass a variety of media from painting, collage, ceramics, mixed media and more.

Flesh and Frame: Human Figurative Art features selections from Transmission Gallery Oakland, and is curated in partnership with Transmission Gallery executive director Ruth Santee, and manager TaVee McAllister Lee, both artists with works in the show.
Flesh and Frame – Human Figurative Art continues at The Barn Gallery through June 10.
Regular open hours of The Barn Gallery are Wednesdays and Thursdays 2:30-5 p.m, select Saturdays (3/11, 3/25, 4/8, 4/22, 5/6, 5/13, 6/3, 6/10) and by appointment.
