About The Artist
I work in both 2D and 3D formats with a wide range of materials. In my paintings on a wood or canvas substrate, I use acrylics and oils and often incorporate other materials such as wood putty, cement, resins and photography. In my sculpture I employ some of the same materials plus various metals, ceramic and architectural hydrocal. Using these elements in the spirit of alchemy, I explore the interplay between matter and spirit until each piece develops a vibrating and luminous life of its own.
