Woodland, CA – YoloArts recently selected Lindsay Laughlin to serve as a UC Davis Fellow on their board of directors. YoloArts is a participant in the UC Davis Board Fellowship Program, an initiative of the Women in Leadership club at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
Laughlin holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly State University and is in her second year as an MBA candidate at UC Davis. She is currently employed at Blue Shield California as a Marketer Operations Specialist. Laughlin paints, refinishes wood furniture, and gardens in her spare time.
The UC Davis program places MBA students (Fellows) on the boards of directors of partner organizations as non-voting, or adjunct, members and allows these students to contribute skills and time to help solve business challenges faced by partner organizations.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lindsay to the board of directors and look forward to the new perspectives and ideas she will be contributing,” said Alison Flory, YoloArts executive director.
Board members welcoming Laughlin include Debra Gonella, president; Julie Salley, vice-president; Todd Montgomery, treasurer; Sara Pereida, secretary, and directors Jose Arenas, Beth Jackson, Lanette McClure, and Carol Rose.
