Farmer, Neil Muller, talks with artists about the blooms and their life cycle.
Art & Ag visited M3 Ranches this month for sunflowers! Summer was in full bloom for the Artists.
"I appreciate my property more when I can share it with people so they can see what we worked so hard to create." says Frank Muller, of M Three Ranches and Art & Ag committee member for the last ten years. M Three Ranches is a partnership between Frank and his two sons, Neil and Colin.
As a family, they have been farming for over 50 years in the Sacramento Valley, and are recognized as being a lead grower of tomatoes, peppers, garlic, seed crops, olives, walnuts, and almonds. M Three Ranches holds an organic certification with CCOF and a certification with USDA GAP.
M Three Ranches is proud of its environmentally sustainable agricultural practices that produce a diverse set of crops. This diversity reduces weed pressure, water use, and the risk of disease. They focus on a full circle approach with the crops they grow: some are produced for seed, some for processing (dehydration, canning, or brining), and some to be sold fresh to market.
M Three Ranches also does Habitat Restoration work and is strongly committed to sustainability, wildlife enhancement, and habitat improvement.
