YoloArts invites all emerging and established artists in Yolo, Sacramento, and Solano Counties to submit artwork for “Surroundings”, a juried exhibition opening September 5 at The Barn Gallery in Woodland.
The exhibit theme, Surroundings, is an opportunity to find a “different way of looking” and expressing the surroundings in Yolo County. Artists are invited to explore their relationship between the place where they may live, work, or play. Artists are encouraged to explore unique interpretations of the landscape, urbanscape, or mindscape elicited by personal experience of Yolo.
The call for art includes a range of media including 2D, 3D, installation, and digital art. All artwork must be original and not previously exhibited at YoloArts’ Gallery 625.
The Barn Gallery is YoloArts’ newest exhibition space, located at The Gibson House property in Woodland.
The deadline to apply is June 10.
