Ken Potter encouraged me to take figure drawing at American River College in 2006. Since that time I have taken every figure drawing, figure sculpture, and ceramic class and look for opportunities to sculpt at open studios. I often say, “Give me a hunk of clay and a model and I am happy.” My figure sculptures are experiments in style, technique, glazes, and firing.
