About The Artist
Carlos Santiago immigrated to the United States in 1970 from the Philippines at age eleven. A visual artist, honed his craft through community college courses and a pivotal apprenticeship with listed artist Francesca Enriquez for one year. He creates abstract, contemporary works in mixed media, marked by dynamic lines, layered textures, and a playful yet powerful energy—sometimes described as “crazy chicken scratches.”
