Karen Fess

I paint because I love it. The more color the better. I also enjoy working with light and pattern. After a period during which I could devote only a limited amount of time to painting, (due to the cancer and death of my first husband, working, meeting and marrying my second husband) I am back to what I love. While I continue to work in watercolor I am exploring acrylics and oils as well. They require a different approach and I am enjoying the challenge of adapting to these mediums.
