About The Artist
With a special sensitivity to color and harmony, Laura Hanke combines a seeming naïveté with wellspring of essence. The components that Hanke says must exist in her work, “light emanating from within the color balance, human touch, and recognizable imagery,” become the playful, but serious axioms for her colorful floral arrangements. Hanke has a MFA from Parsons.
